Dodge Ram – environmentally friendly?

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

I took a survey the other day that was asking questions about what car I might consider buying next. The page had an ad of the new Dodge Ram on it and a lot of questions were around Dodge, Pickups in general so I think this was a survey initiated by them.

One of the questions was “I would pay significantly more for an environmentally friendly vehicle” see image above.

What a way to influence answers by forming a question! Significantly more – but how much more? I think this shows that there is so much more to get sorted in the mindsets of the people in the US car industry. As long as you build cars as big as the Ram for just getting a person from A to B you have a serious problem.

“what matters to me”

Fab video of a German guy by the name Stefan Ramirez Perez who won a scholarship with this entry. Goes to prove a theory of mine. If something is really outstandingly good – you don’t need to be an expert in the area to immediately know this is great.
Have a look and let me know if you agree.

How to Do Everything with Yahoo!Alan Neibauer talks about Yahoo! as if it were a powerful application, and not a Web site… in 2000 the guy already predicted the platform strategy!!!!! This book should have been filed with the Nostradamus books.

How to Do Everything with Yahoo!

You can do just about anything on Yahoo!–the site that started out as a popular Web subject tree, and has morphed into a center for doing everything from finding a job to finding a date. How to Do Everything with Yahoo! documents the site’s capabilities as they were in the third quarter of 2000. Essentially, author Alan Neibauer talks about Yahoo! as if it were a powerful application, and not a Web site. This is an appropriate approach (on Yahoo’s part, as well as Neibauer’s). Even if you use the site all of the time, this book likely will introduce you to cool things that you can do with–or that you never knew existed on–the popular portal.

Cinemas In London – So Where Do You GO?

Friday, April 6th, 2007

cinema
As I’m moving to London this month I have to change my cinema habits – a little at least.  I have noticed there is a huge list of cinemas in London . All of which I’ll never be able to attend. I’ve been to the Odeon – which seems to be the biggest chain – in Leicester Square to watch the latest Bond Movie – what a match a 007 Movie in London. Was pretty good but the seats were not really spacious. What cinemas would you reckon …?
